Walters Continues USBC Blue #1 Dominance

Wally 300Last evening, Mike Walters of Sheboygan became only the second person to record a 300 game in the ELITE Bowling Pro Shop Challenge League.  Aaron Cleveland accomplished that feat in the 2012-13 season.

Walters 300 came in the opening game and followed with 256 and 228.  He had a chance to seal an 800 series but his first shot in the 10th frame of the 3rd game prevented him from becoming just the second person to record an 800 series (Steve Schmit; 279 triplicate for 837 on Kegel Broadway).

Additional scores above a 200 average for the night were: Steve Richter 1028, Mike Walters 1016, Aaron Nachtwey 949, Mike Charaus 947, Joe Champeau 915, Paul Gloede 899, Darrell Bucko 890, Jacob Mickelson 849, Cody Weigel 847 and Scott Cleveland 806.
