The ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League Resumes Again

The ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League began it’s season last night on the USBC Blue #2 40’ pattern.  Depending on lane surface, I’ve seen this pattern play extremely oily and also extremely dry.

Last night seemed to be a good blend of the two, though it hooked more than the practice week.  Lanes transitioned quickly and steeper angles through the front of the lane worked better.

Leading the scoring pace for the evening was Steve Richter at 968 followed by David Paasch (896), Mike Charaus (866), Paul Gloede (845) and Troy Felsinger (813) all posting over-par scores.

In the Pins over Average category, newly committed two-handed bowler, Justin Mickelson lead the way with an impressive +194 score.  Watch out!!! This kid is the real deal and is just starting to get good at controlling his ball motion.

Following Justin were David Paasch +164, Steve Richter +128, Rudy DelValle +119, Mike Charaus +86, Matt Kawa +71, Jacob Mickelson +69, Troy Felsinger +53, and Paul Gloede +29.
