Adam Kellner Rolls 300 in Championship Game to win the 12th Annual Galactic 9-Pin Tournament
After qualifying in 7th position and getting 2 “byes” into the 4th round, Adam Kellner only got stronger as the night went on; eventually finishing with a 9-pin 300 game to top #5 seed Mike Heling for the championship.
The win was worth $140, second was $125.
The defending Champion, Jeff Shircel, was bidding to become the first repeat winner of the event but lost out in the round of 4 to Mike Heling.
In the One Shot Pot game, Jeff Meyer survived 3 games worth of roll-overs to win the $220 prize. Joya Schnettler, already a fan of Roto Grip equipment, won a Roto Grip bowling ball of her choice.
The tournament featured a record fourteen 9-pin 300 games by; Cliff Bulkow, Steve DeKerf Jr, Drew Kriesa, Jeff Shircel, B.J. Schnettler, Garry Harris, Tim Felsinger(2), Josh Hintz, Ryan Dana, Joe Mertens, Mike Heling and Adam Kellner
