Odyssey Fun Center was built in 1985. That same year, owner David Bardon started his own company… but it wasn’t Odyssey Fun Center! Thanks to a passion for science and data-driven mind, he pursued a master’s degree in environment science, which led to work at Kohler and starting E&K Hazardous Waste Services, which later merged with other companies, leading to a multi million-dollar business.

But bowling was always calling. David’s dad built Anchor Lanes in 1975, and David himself bought it in 1993. JBs’ Entertainment Center, Odyssey Fun Center, Super Bowl, and Olympic Lanes (now JB’s on 41) quickly followed suit. Bardon Bowling Centers are found throughout WI. Bardon lives near Odyssey Fun Center, and he’s been known to help on busy nights, stop in for a cold one, and even bowl a few rounds! Make sure to say, "hi!"

The Odyssey Bar & Grill hosts entertainment options for all ages, from digital jukebox hits to Saturday comedy nights, there's something for everyone in this modern lounge. We can only imagine what music played in the 80s when the building was first constructed. Or what kind of food and drinks were served. You won't find typical bar food at Odyssey. This is Wisconsin, so we know our cheese. Curds are made with real Wisconsin cheese, people crave our stone pizzas with signature flavor combos, and shareable nachos and pretzels are just a couple examples of our favorite options. From burgers to bar bites, come hungry because we believe our fun mission extends to food, too! We're dedicated to ensuring each meal is made with care. Beer, wine, and specialty cocktails are also served daily. At Odyssey, guests can dine and drink with or without bowling.

Since the beginning, league bowlers flock to the center, along with athletes, politicians, and partygoers. We've become a community fixture, facilitating outings and financially contributing to many local organizations. Companies, churches, and schools have all experienced bowling at Odyssey Fun Center.

But we know a new era of bowling has begun. New generations of bowlers come for Kids Bowl Free, at a field trip, or even join a league. Owner David Bardon helped create Bowling 2.0, a free 4-week curriculum that introduces new folks to bowling. Families join the fun with Weekly to Do Daily Deals. Our passion for all things bowling remains. Whether your score features more gutter balls or strikes, you play every week or stopped in for a party, or you prefer dining to bowling, all are welcome. Odyssey Fun Center is a place for people of all ages and abilities, and we’re glad you’re here. After all, fun is our business.
