Walters Continues Hot Streak In ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League

Mike Walters continued his torrid pace in finishing up October pattern segment for the ELITE Bowling Pro Shop Challenge League.

After shooting the first 1000 of the year (1002), he followed up with a 955 on games of 259-213-225-258 to finish the segment at 235.

However, after missing the first two weeks waiting for a job shift change, he fell 100 points short of the segment lead behind Steve Richter at 326 points.  Rounding out the top 5 are Paul Gloede (288), Aaron Nachtwey (279), Darrell Bucko (257) and Mike Ristow (248).

Top scratch scores over a 200 average for the week were Walters (955), Darrell Bucko (928), Paul Gloede (914) Steve Richter (906), Mike Ristow (899), JJ Krahn (881), Scott Cleveland (845) and David Kaboord (804).

Ristow took the honors for most pins over average for the night at +143 followed by Cleveland at +117.

Jeremy Tock knocked off the Big Strike Jackpot for $58.

November’s segment shifts to the slightly more challenging USBC Blue #1 at 42’ and 19mL of oil in the pattern.  That is fairly light for a longer pattern so expect many changes to the pattern during the night.
