High Scores Continue in October Segment of ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League

The USBC Red, White and Blue patterns get an unfair comparison to USBC Sport patterns simply due to a lack of knowledge.

The truth is, with the better crosswise blend, these “tougher” league patterns at times can be easier than the traditional league pattern.

The scoring explosion continued in the USBC Blue #2 pattern segment of the ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League Wednesday at Odyssey Fun Center with only two people scoring under their average.

Leading the pace was Mike Walters at 947.  Mike was followed by Troy Felsinger (920), Steve Richter (917), Paul Gloede (872), David Paasch (814) and Aaron Nachtwey (802).  Sammy Rieder led the ladies with a 756.

In the Pins Over Average category, Troy Felsinger at +160 led the week.  He was followed by Mike Walters (+135), Jacob Mickelson (+103), Justin Mickelson (+94), David Paasch (+82), Steve Richter (+77), Sammy Rieder (+72), Rudy DelValle (+57)Paul Gloede (+56), Ken Binder & Matt Kawa (+25), Aaron Nachtwey (+22).

Steve Richter stretched his lead over David Paasch and Troy Felsinger with two weeks to go.
