Standings are starting to shape up in the ELITE Pro Shop Challenge League

by / Thursday, 17 October 2013 / Published in Bowling

With the 3rd of 5 weeks complete, there are 18 players with a shot at winning the USBC White #3 pattern segment.

A night after rolling his first ever 800 series, Aaron Nachtwey continued his hot hand rolling games of 253-251-240-238 for a 982 set.  He also leads the standings after three weeks with 195 points.

Interestingly, Aaron pre-bowled for next week on the second shift and only rolled a 795 series and 2nd place Steve Richter will be out of town next week so there is sure to be tons of shifting in the standings over the next two weeks.

That makes for exciting bowling!

Scratch scores over a 200 average for last night were:

* Aaron Nachtwey – 982

* Steve Richter – 974

* Ben Cleveland – 885

* Matt Kawa – 868

* Mike Walters – 865

* Darrell Bucko – 846

* Josh Fane (y) – 822

* Leonard Morton – 818

* Paul Gloede – 805

* Michael Schoerner – 800

Had it not been for Aaron’s stellar performance, Matt Kawa would have easily walked away with top honors.  In his first week of all 200 games, Matt rolled 226-211-216-215 for 868.

That is easily his best set since returning from hip replacement surgery a few years back.  Way to go Matt!!
